Old Comic Books

Comic Narrations dates back to the mural paintings from the prehistoric times. In Egypt, those were widely known in the form of hieroglyphics were the sequential images can tell stories. The pioneer in this art form was Mr. Richard Fenton who with his conception ‘The Yellow Kid’ brought forward the usage of words to improvise the flow of narration. The words were put inside a circular form with a tail directing towards the mouth of the person who said the words.

The initial comics were rather humor packed appearing as strips in News paper or tabloids. The printed books or magazines of these comics contained varied themes enthralling kids. Comics like Popeye which tells the story of a sailor, Calvin and Hobbes and the beautifully designed Little Nemo in Slumber land were some of the paradigms. Imagination and Fantasy in graphical pretext gave birth to characters like Flash Gordon, Tarzan and Dick Tracy.

The Character which magically enthralled readers of all age groups was Super Man which was one of the best in the whole lot.
